4 | The mirror was shattered on my first order and there were no signs on the box that might explain why. It almost looked like it had been shattered before it was shipped. But who knows. No problems with second shipment. Pros X Shipping only took one day. X Unit seems to be sturdy and well built. X I like the aluminum frame, meaning no rust or paint to peal or flake X I like the full size mirror inside the cabinet. You can get a side view of yourself to make sure you do not have a rooster tail in your hair before you go on that important date. X Soft touch, self closing hinges are nice. X Unit is relatively easy to install but it is heavy so you must have two people to lift and install it. If it slips and falls your mirrors will be history. x The motion sensor light switch is a great hands free way to turn the light on and off. Cons X You do need to tap into your home electrical system and it is very important the electric to the mirror runs through a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). If you do not do that, an electrical short could energize the aluminum frame and the consequences could be deadly. Legally, you should use a licensed electrician for that. X Instructions for installation are not that great. Summary For the price, I am satisfied with the product and am ordering another one for a different rental unit. |
